- Assets can be identified and searched using a unique asset number or by user defined fields set up to your own requirements.
- Assets can be linked together so that when one asset is sold, the user is prompted to sell or dispose of any other assets that are linked to it. Especially useful for computer equipment that is constantly being updated.
- Common information such as serial number, location, supplier and invoice number are recorded can be stored.
- Depreciation and asset sale transactions are updated into the nominal ledger.
- Historical depreciation option for assets that were added late, but for which you want to depreciate from the date of purchase.
- Calculation of the profit or loss on asset sale can be done at any time on a ‘what if’ basis.
- Asset sales create a sales invoice in the Sales Order Processing module if required.
- Reports showing details of new assets purchased and assets disposed of in the year. Ideal for year end audit schedules.
