Financial Management Software back
 icon Overview Modules
The Financial Management suite has the back office accounting functions such as the Sales, Purchase & Nominal Ledgers. These packages contain everything a modern business needs to provide information to senior managers and yet be simple enough for all levels of the finance team to use all day, every day.
Nominal Ledger
Sales Ledger
Purchase Ledger
Cash Book
Fixed Asset Register
Sales Invoice Archiving
MADICS has multi currency functionality and Euro capability at its core, whilst an emphasis on the ability to drill through to the source information both from and to the financial systems areas, provides a strong backbone to the MADICS product suites. The ledgers can be set up for automatic processing, for example month ends, regular journals and transaction matching, or they can be used manually or in fast entry mode if you prefer.

The Cash Book module can control your business bank accounts, petty cash and investment accounts and save you hours with its simple to use reconciliation process.

The Invoice Archiving module allows you to keep electronic copies of your invoices and credit notes safely stored on hard disk or read only drives such as CD’s. This module will also work with most third party document management systems.

The final module in the Financial Management suite is the Fixed Asset Register which links with the Nominal Ledger and Sales Order Management systems to update depreciation calculations and Fixed Asset Sales.

The MADICS software is designed to show you the information that you need, when you need it. This reduces the number of screens that a user has to learn and provides them with a structured, easy to read screen focused on the information required. As well as multi currency, MADICS has multi company capability, user definable screens, menu's and documentation and its own quick report writer. Alternatively you can use third party tools such as Crystal Reports, Cognos Powerplay or Microsoft Excel to interrogate the data held in your MADICS database. You can find out more about some of these in the Corporate Communications and Personal Productivity suite.
