Whilst the concept of on-line ordering is not exactly new, the features required of their website and on-line ordering are very much tailored to Guardsman’s bespoke requirements, in that it allows them to create and maintain individual customer product & pricing for contract customers across different websites.

Guardsman with the help of Pindar Graphics, created a number of databases for their customers based on the CactuShop design. Madics is used to update the websites with customer stock and pricing information automatically overnight.

The customer is issued a login and password and a unique URL. Once logged in, the information they see on-line will contain only their own chosen product database range, pricing structure and customer logos.

A suite of MADICS web tools allow Guardsman to create and maintain customer / product relationships all within the MADICS suite, based on simple table designs.

A standard order / enquiry system is also available for the non-contract customer use.
